Comet NEOWISE Now Visible to the Unaided Eye

Comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE), a recently-discovered visitor from distant parts of our Solar System, is putting on a spectacular nighttime display.

  1. well, I was out there; from sunset, before first stars comes out, till the big dipper shows up, and I don’t see no comet. I saw Hale Bopp; if this comet is visible to the unaided eye, it’s no where in the same class as Hale Bopp!
