Venus can be Tereformed, Mars Cannot
Mars from my perspectives, is a waste of resources and efforts. There has been no self-sustainable environment, much less a self sustaining ecosystem , that can reasonably be proposed. Life on Mars feeds off Earth’s resources. And has no resources to supplement diversity of life on Earth.
Venus is Rich in Resources, and has everything available to be Terraformed; mostly from space. Planetary real estate development.
Mars is about 1/3 the size of Earth and has insufficient gravity to hold a more dense atmosphere, as the solar wind continues to strip away the atmosphere. Mars is equivalent to flying 220,000 feet above sea level here on Earth, approaching a vacuum, and requiring a space suit. Any effort to produce an atmosphere, is wasted to space. Almost like trying to create an atmosphere on the Moon. A wasted effort.
Venus is about the size of Earth, and has a deformable atmosphere currently much more dense than Earth’s.
However, the same NASA active solar sails used as passive shade structures, can in number provide Green Conservative Global Weather Control for Earth. To actively stabilize Global Climate Instability.
A copy deployed to Venus, the conditions needed for seeding catalysts to terreform Venus can be sustained. Genetic engineered bacteria and plants to convert carbon dioxide to oxygen, water, fertilizer, and if needed fuel. These have already been engineered on Earth. The focus would instead be on Venus. Viruses introduced to mutate seeded life, to be consistent with the changing environments caused by orbiting shade structures.
French research recently suggests a stable manetosphere can be created for Venus. Along with a magnetic tractor (tractor beam) to move resources to and from the surface, and between planets.
Venus is rich in diverse resources to supplement Earth’s diverse life. One of many self funding reasons to develop Venus.
All of the measured asteroids combined total about 1/15th the size of our Moon. With useful resources of questiinable value. Venus in as little as 300 years, could host the first landing of human life. Shade structures consistently lower temperatures by as much as 15 degrees. With controlled opportunity to absorb sunlight, the atmosphere cools, is converted, and condenses.
Reversing global warming of Venus.
All starting from implementing NASA solar shade structures, I.e. Global Weather Control System.
